Self-Adhered Cold-Applied Welded Seam
“High-Performance Coal Tar Elastomeric Membrane Self-Adhered Welded Seam CTEM Roofing System”
Hyload Welded Seam (WS) CTEM is a self-adhered, cold-applied Elastomeric membrane manufactured in a process that blends coal tar pitch with DuPont™ Elvaloy® KEE and is reinforced with dispersed polyester fibers. The finished CTEM product is then coated with our SBS adhesive to provide you with a high-performance self-adhered roofing membrane. This unique formulation combines the time-proven characteristics of coal tar pitch with the advanced technology of DuPont™ Elvaloy®. Hyload WS CTEM is ideal for slope applications from dead level up to 3″ per foot. It is the weathering membrane in an assembly that provides the waterproof integrity required for roofing applications on industrial, commercial and institutional buildings.
The Hyload WS self-adhered CTEM roofing system is a tough, durable one that has the ability to meet the demands imposed by harsh environments. It is environmentally safe for use in all types of low-slope roofing applications.
Hyload CTEM saves money and labor because…
- Is quick and easy to install
- Can be furnished to be VOC compliant
- Requires less maintenance
It is not:
- Hot bitumens
- Odors/Fume Recovery
Hyload WS CTEM time-proven products are coal-tar-based and cost-effective because they are resistant to:
- Standing Water
- UV Degradation
- Chemical Attack
CTEM doesn’t require that same type of tapered roof insulation that non-coal-tar-based systems must use to be in compliance with building code requirements.
