White Membranes (ALPROOF/ALPSAM)
Hyload’s white roof membranes are high-performance membranes utilizing the advantages of Elvaloy®. Our white membrane is a thermoplastic allowing for the roof-top security of hot-air welded seams. Alproof is an uncoated membrane that can be laid in cold-applied adhesives or hot asphalt, while Alpsam is a self-adhered membrane in a “peel-and-stick” configuration.

We are proud to carry Energy Star certification on our white membranes. The certified laboratory testing of the aged solar reflectance of our membrane is equal or greater than 94% of the new, unexposed membrane. This is a clear and unambiguous indication of the quality and integrity of the product’s formulation.

These are recent (September 2005) photos of Hyload Alproof installed in 1992 on the Seton Center at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

This 13 year-old roof has been maintenance and problem free since installation. After years of exposure, the E 903 reflectance is essentially equal to new membrane. Contact Hyload for actual test results.
